Alan Kennish

Owner

Alan Kennish lives and works on Stock Island, Key West, Florida. He has studied art and photography at Columbia College (BA 1968), The New School in NY, the University of New Mexico, and the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana. He also holds an MBA from Rutgers. His photographs have appeared in many national and regional magazines, including Southern Living, Outdoor Magazine, New Mexico Magazine, Albuquerque Magazine, Art News, and Key West Magazine, as well as in commercial work for advertising agencies. He has spent many years as a photographer and printer, first with the traditional silver photographic processes and now in the digital realm. He started Key West Fine Art Photography and Printing in 2001, and now works with many artists documenting their work and producing archival prints. He is an expert in digital printing techniques and has attended many workshops given by Cone Editions, Epson, Imacon and Adobe, to name a few. He is a member of Professional Photographers of America and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
